Abstract
The way we build software is undergoing a fundamental shift. AI-assisted coding is no longer a futuristic vision, it’s already redefining how developers think, create, and collaborate. As intelligent systems take over more parts of the development process, our focus as engineers is moving away from manual implementation toward problem-solving, architecture, and creativity. This keynote explores how AI is transforming the developer role today and what skills will define tomorrow’s successful engineers. It highlights the opportunities and challenges of this transition, from augmented productivity to ethical responsibility, and offers a perspective on how developers can stay relevant, lead innovation, and evolve from writing code to designing intelligence.
